Ideaphora was among the companies highlighted that are using research to design and develop educational technology products. By showcasing examples of research-based product development, Digital Promise aims to help researchers, developers and educators collaborate to use scientific and user research to improve student outcomes and better understand learners. The Ideaphora web-based knowledge-mapping environment is based on insights from long-standing education research on the efficacy of digital learning and study techniques. We couple this research basis with innovative technologies to offer an engaging digital platform for learners to build critical knowledge and skills by connecting concepts in visual maps. We are also continuously improving our product based on data collected within our knowledge-mapping environment, plus continuous feedback from students and teachers.
